The dept of IHBT houses a tertiary level blood center functioning as a 24×7 comprehensive transfusion medicine hub, providing safe blood, advanced diagnostics, clinical support, education, and research to attain the best possible patient outcomes and healthcare management. The department offers donor services & conduct of voluntary blood donation camps,component preparation, Immunohematology & transfusion services, Transfusion Transmitted Infection (TTI) Testing including advanced NAT testing, Blood Storage and Inventory Management, Clinical Transfusion Services , follows Quality Control and Quality Assurance Programs and has established Teaching, Training, and Research activities .
