Facilities
The Department of Physiology provides integrated laboratory facilities that support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching through hands-on training and strong clinical correlation. Students are trained in essential hematological investigations, experimental and simulation-based demonstrations of nerve–muscle, cardiovascular, respiratory, and autonomic functions, and non-invasive human physiology experiments. The laboratories emphasize ethical conduct, interpretation of findings, and application of physiological principles to health and disease. Clinical examination in normal subjects is an integral component, enabling students to learn systematic assessment of vital signs and physiological functions and build a strong foundation for clinical skills. The department also encourages student participation in basic and clinical research, providing early exposure to research methodology, data collection, and scientific analysis.
