Responsibilities of the Academic Cell:

  • To monitor the implementation of the structured training programme in all postgraduate specialities.

  • To ensure the quality and compliance of training programmes as mandated by PGMEB.

  • To oversee adherence to thesis submission timelines and e-log book maintenance.

  • To periodically review and update the training programme as per curriculum requirements.

  • To assist in organizing academic activities such as seminars, journal clubs, clinical case discussions, grand rounds, and CPCs.

  • To support the integration of teaching and training for undergraduate students by involving postgraduate trainees.

  • To submit periodic reports on training programme status to the Principal/Dean for further communication with regulatory authorities.

This Academic Cell will function under the direct supervision of the Principal and is empowered to
coordinate with departmental heads and postgraduate guides to ensure effective delivery of academic
training.
