Subject: Reconstitution of Finance Committee – Reg.
Finance Committee is hereby reconstituted with the following members:

  • Dr. M A Andrews – Principal – Chairman

  • Fr. Thomas Pooppadi – Assistant Director – Convener

  • Fr. Renny Mundenkurian – Director – Member

  • Dr. Benny Joseph – CEO – Member

  • CA Franco Joseph – Chartered Accountant – Member

  • CA Aju Jose – Chartered Accountant – Member

  • Fr. Francis Pallikunnath – Governing Board Member – Member

  • Mr. Joshi Paul – General Manager, Human Resources – Member

The Finance Committee shall:
  • Prepare and review the annual institutional budget and financial plans.
  • Monitor income, expenditure, and budget utilization of the institution.
  • Review major purchases, capital expenditure, and financial commitments.
  • Ensure proper financial controls, documentation, and accountability.
  • Review departmental budget requirements and recommend allocations.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable financial rules, statutory requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Review audit observations and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Recommend measures for cost control, financial efficiency, and resource optimization.
  • Review financial statements and significant financial matters periodically.
  • Advise the Management/Principal on matters relating to financial planning and administration.
  • Perform any other financial function assigned by the Management.
Meetings :
  • The Finance Committee shall meet at least once every quarter and additionally whenever required. The Member Secretary shall convene the meetings, prepare the agenda, maintain minutes, and follow up on decisions taken by the Committee.
  • All concerned departments and offices shall extend necessary cooperation to the Committee and provide relevant financial information and records whenever required.
  • This order shall remain in force until further orders.
