Duties & Responsibilities

The Curriculum Committee shall:

1   Plan, implement, and monitor the CBME-based undergraduate curriculum in
accordance with NMC guidelines.
2   Ensure integration and timely conduct of modules such as AETCOM, Electives, Early
Clinical Exposure, Skill Labs, and Self-Directed Learning.
3   Coordinate faculty training via Medical Education Unit (MEU).
Oversee student academic progress, including attendance, internal assessments,
4   feedback, and remedial measures.
5   Coordinate postgraduate training schedules in line with PG MSR 2023.
6   Ensure maintenance of curriculum records, timetables, and meeting minutes for audit
and inspection purposes.

Schedule of Meetings (2025–26)

The Committee shall meet at least four times a year, with additional meetings as
required:

Documentation & Reporting

  • Minutes of each meeting shall be recorded and maintained by the Member Secretary.

  • Action-taken reports shall be presented in subsequent meetings.

  • Documentation shall be submitted to the IQAC and made available to KUHS and NMC
