Institutional Library Committee

In view of the need for streamlined functioning and  policy-making concerning library
resources, the Institutional Library Committee of Jubilee Mission Medical College &
Research Institute, Thrissur, is hereby reconstituted with immediate effect as follows:

Institutional Library Committee (2025–2026)

  • Dr. M.A. Andrews – Principal – Chairman

  • Dr. Aparna Namboodiripad – Associate Professor, Dept. of Paediatrics – Member

  • Dr. Anilkumar C R – Associate Professor, Dept. of General Medicine – Member

  • Dr. S. Ranjith – Professor, Dept. of Anatomy – Member

  • Dr. N. I. Kurian – Professor, Dept. of Neurosurgery – Member

  • Dr. Shinto Devassy – Associate Professor, Dept. of Forensic Medicine – Member

  • Mr. A.V. Francis – Senior Office Superintendent – Member

  • Mrs. Nirmala George – Chief Librarian – Coordinator

Terms of Reference:

The Committee shall meet as and when necessary to deliberate and recommend
procurement and subscription of:

  • Books (Textbooks, Reference Books)
  • National and International Journals
  • E-resources, Teaching Aids, and Educational Tools

Policy decisions regarding library utilization and access by faculty and students will also
fall under the purview of this committee.

The Head of the concerned Department will be specially invited during meetings where
subject-specific resources are being considered for procurement
