Sensitization Training – “ADR Reporting, Medication Safety and Materiovigilance” – House Surgeons
A sensitization training session on “ADR Reporting, Medication Safety and Materiovigilance” was conducted for House Surgeons by Dr. Maria Jose on 11th September 2025. The session focused on the importance of early detection, proper documentation, and timely reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in clinical practice.
The program witnessed the participation of 95 House Surgeons, who actively engaged in interactive discussions and case-based learning exercises. Emphasis was laid on the pivotal role of healthcare professionals in ensuring medication safety, promoting patient welfare, and strengthening the institution’s pharmacovigilance and materiovigilance activities.
The session also reinforced the importance of vigilance in day-to-day clinical practice and encouraged interns to contribute actively towards building a safer healthcare system through responsible reporting practices.
