World Environment Day was observed on 5 June 2026 by the NSS Unit of our college with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices among students. The programme emphasized the importance of protecting nature and increasing green cover through tree plantation activities.As part of the observance, NSS volunteers planted saplings at various locations within the college campus. The plantation drive aimed to enhance the greenery of the campus and create awareness about the role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution, and combating climate change. The volunteers carefully selected suitable locations for planting and ensured proper watering and protection of the saplings. Faculty members and NSS Programme Officers encouraged the students and appreciated their enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental protection.
