The Department of Neurology successfully observed World Stroke Day on 28th October 2024 with the aim of creating awareness about stroke prevention, early recognition, and timely treatment. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. [DMO Name], District Medical Officer, Thrissur, along with renowned film music director Shri Vidyadharan Master. The event was conducted under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Renu Mundan Kurian and Dr. Fiju Chacko, whose leadership and support made the programme a great success. A special Stroke Awareness Talk was delivered during the programme, highlighting the importance of recognizing the warning signs of stroke, the need for immediate medical attention, risk factor control, and preventive measures.
