The Department of Pathology, JMMC & RI successfully hosted the 96th IAPM Kerala Chapter Meeting on February 8, 2026, at Regency Club, Kuttanellur. The event was organized with Dr. Deepthy Vijayaraghavan, HOD of Pathology, serving as Organizing Chairperson and Dr. Lincy Joseph as Organizing Secretary.
The meeting was inaugurated by Fr. Renny Mundenkurian, Director, and presided over by Dr. Kavitha Ravi, President of the IAPM Kerala Chapter. A slide seminar on Core Biopsy Interpretation, chaired by Dr. Sheima R. Das, and a free paper session moderated by
Dr. Nita Mary formed the highlights of the academic programme.
Senior pathologists were honoured for their lifetime contributions to the field. The meeting attracted around 500 delegates from across Kerala, making it a successful platform for academic exchange and professional networking.
