Functions of the IEDC Executive Committee

The IEDC Executive Committee shall facilitate and promote:

  • Innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.
  • Identification and development of innovative ideas and projects.
  • Entrepreneurship awareness, training, mentoring and capacity building.
  • Technology development and application of innovative solutions.
  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness and support.
  • Research, innovation and industry/community collaboration.
  • Branding, communication and promotion of IEDC activities.
  • Community-oriented innovation initiatives.
  • Special initiatives supporting women innovators and entrepreneurs.
  • Financial planning and effective utilization of resources for IEDC activities.
  • Quality assurance and effective coordination of IEDC programmes.

The committee will work under the guidance of the institutional leadership and IEDC Nodal Officers to strengthen the culture of innovation, creativity, research and entrepreneurship among students and faculty of Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur.
