The Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and compassionate respiratory care. Equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, the department offers specialized evaluation and management for a wide spectrum of respiratory and sleep-related disorders.

Our team combines clinical expertise, modern technology, academic excellence, and patient-centered care to deliver high-quality services for both acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, including bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tuberculosis, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, pleural disorders, sleep-related breathing disorders, and respiratory infections.

Specialized services include fibre optic bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, pulmonary function testing, DLCO, sleep studies, ventilatory support, respiratory ICU care, and pulmonary rehabilitation.

The department also runs dedicated specialty clinics for Asthma, COPD, and Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), along with an active NTEP centre for tuberculosis diagnosis and management. Jubilee Mission Medical College remains one of the leading private medical colleges in Kerala in the detection and management of tuberculosis cases.

As a teaching and research-oriented department, we are actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate training, clinical research, public health initiatives, and academic development.
