Though every department has played its role in shaping all of us, I have a special word of appreciation for the Department of OBG, which at that time was led by Sareena Madam and Annie Madam. The quality of teaching we received there is something I have rarely seen anywhere else. Their continuous teaching, their dedication to enriching our knowledge, and the way they involved us actively in the labour room created a learning environment we remain truly grateful for. Not only that, today, as mentors ourselves, we realise how much of what we do is shaped by what they taught us. Their commitment , patience and discipline continue to guide us in training our own mentees. Truly inspirational.Honestly, after General Medicine and Gastroenterology, the strongest foundation I carry with me is from OBG.

I was blessed to learn under exceptional teachers whose mastery in both teaching and clinical skills continues to inspire me every day. Their guidance and example have played a pivotal role in moulding me into the doctor I am today.

My undergraduate medical education at JMMC formed the foundation for my career and helped me a great deal in achieving my goals. The way JMMC shapes young minds who step into medical college,straight from school, to become responsible doctors, is incredible. We were literally moulded from naive teenagers to committed, service-minded doctors by JMMC. Regular classes by astute faculty coupled with best clinical exposure which you could get in the entire stat, paved way for our
career paths. Because we were trained well clinically as well as academically, I had the advantage while pursuing my post graduation studies. JMMC is indeed our ‘alma mater&amp’

When I joined as the first batch of this institution,I had a goal of getting a degree and becoming a doctor .The experience,teachings and life in JMMC has now made me a doctor,a disciplined soldier and also a teacher,and still learning as a student in the same institute in a subspeciality department.My journey is boosted up , not only by my passion but also by the culture incorporated by this college..Never Give Up and Service with Love
