Constitution of the Anti-Ragging Squad
Duties and Responsibilities
As per UGC/NMC guidelines, the squad shall have the following responsibilities:
Surveillance and Monitoring:
Conduct regular and surprise inspections at hostels, canteens, classrooms, and common
areas.
Maintain high vigilance during the opening weeks of the academic year.
Inquiry and Reporting:
Investigate complaints or information received about ragging.
Submit preliminary report to the Anti-Ragging Committee and Principal within 24 hours of
any incident.
Preventive Action:
Identify and counsel potential troublemakers.
Educate students on the consequences of ragging through regular awareness campaigns.

Tenure
The Anti-Ragging Squad will function with this composition until further orders or
reconstitution.
Reporting and Accountability
The Squad shall report directly to the Principal/Chairman of the Institutional Anti-Ragging
Committee. Minutes of inspections and actions taken must be documented and submitted
monthly

A copy of this order and list of members with their contact details shall be:
Uploaded on the college website
Displayed on Notice Boards of the College and all Hostels
Issued under my authority and in strict adherence to statutory guidelines.
