 Functions of the Committee

Vimukthi Functions:

  • Conduct awareness campaigns, pledge ceremonies, workshops, and counselling sessions against substance abuse.
  • Collaborate with the State Vimukthi Mission, Police, and NGOs for outreach programmes.
  • Support early identification and referral of students requiring intervention.

Neerkootam Functions:

  •  Conduct campus water audits and promote water conservation measures.
  • Maintain rainwater harvesting, grey-water reuse, and green campus initiatives.
  • Engage students in environmental awareness drives and eco-friendly campus events.
General:
  • Document all meetings, events, and outcomes.
  • Submit quarterly reports to the Principal for forwarding to KUHS/NMC as applicable.
 Meeting Frequency
The Committee shall meet at least once every three months, or more often if required, and maintain formal minutes.
 Tenure
The Committee will function for a period of one year from the date of this order, subject to reconstitution thereafter.
