Medical Education Unit (MEU)

In accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and as per
the recommendations of the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), the Medical
Education Unit (MEU) of this institution is hereby reconstituted with effect from 01/07/2025.

Duties and Responsibilities – (As per NMC Regulations):

  • The MET shall plan, organize and report faculty development programs as per annual academic
  • planning
  • Submit quarterly activity reports to the designated Nodal/ Regional Centre.
  • Maintain and update the MEU library, infrastructure and educational equipment.
  • Ensure continuous capacity –building in pedagogy, assessment and curriculum delivery.
