  • OP Services :

    A well designed outpatient clinic provides for daily consultations, besides evaluation and management of surgical conditions. This encompasses a range of conditions involving the hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal tracts, endocrine organs, breast, skin and soft tissue, vascular diseases, and trauma related conditions. We also provide services for wound evaluation and advanced dressing applications, along with preoperative counseling, necessary assessments, postoperative and follow-up care. Minor surgical procedures are conducted in the minor operating theater available within the outpatient department.

  • IP Services :

    Patients who have undergone elective and emergency procedures are effectively managed in the surgical wards. Facilities for pre-operative preparation and optimisation, post-operative monitoring, pain management, wound care, nutritional support and rehabilitation are available.

  • Emergency Services :

    For patients with polytrauma and acute surgical problems (such as intestinal obstruction, perforation peritonitis, appendicitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, soft tissue infections with sepsis), we offer emergency surgical care round the clock. Emergency resuscitation, stabilization, bedside procedures and operative management are carried out in coordination with the emergency department and critical care services.

  • Sterilization and infection control :

    Strict adherence to operation theatre protocols and infection. prevention measures together with high quality central sterilisation services ensure superior outcomes. A policy of adherence to central biomedical waste management practices is ensured.

  • Nursing allied health support :

    Trained theater technicians and skilled surgical nurses support the department, ensuring patient safety and care. For early diagnosis and treatment planning, we collaborate closely with radiology, pathology, microbiology departments, and laboratory services. Physiotherapists, dietitians, and stoma care staff assist the department with rehabilitation, nutritional assistance, and patient education for comprehensive surgical care.

  • Multidisciplinary approach :

    Timely referrals and interdisciplinary patient care are ensured by close cooperation with departments of anesthesiology, oncology, urology, plastic surgery, general medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology and orthopedics.

  • Academic activities :

    The department is a hub for surgical education and training of undergraduate students and post graduate residents. Academic activities include seminars, journal clubs, case presentations, mortality and morbidity meetings, clinical discussions and research activities.
